Summer Days

 Maven's wedding train

 You leave for a minute and this happens. 

He is dumping all of the pieces to all of the games into a bowl. 

He said he was making a cake. 

 Aubrey came with Grandma and Grandpa and she did the girl's hair. 

 They loved it, but asked her to fix it every 5 min since it wouldn't stay tight.

 He has shoes he calls his "mowing shoes".

 Playing in the water, a favorite pastime. 

 Teaching Grandma to fix the truck. "This is not a wrench, it is a screwdriver".

 They got out the yoga cards and did yoga by themselves.

These two are always in the same room and usually playing the same thing, but sometimes they choose to do two different things. Maven is building a house out of Tinker Toys and Maren is building an "obstacle course" out of rope and toys. 

Cruisin!

 We just had a wonderfully relaxing week on a
cruise to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica!

 In Cozumel, everyone went on an excursion to a beach with a fun water park nearby.

Grandma and Grandpa in Jamaica. They watched basket weaving and ate sugar cane.

 We had breakfast with Disney characters.

 They had an Adventure Club on the ship for kids 3-5 years old. 

The kids loved it! They had different themes and activities everyday.

 Why don't they make pear sauce for adults that can't eat applesause? 

Oh well, the kids think it is fun to eat their "baby food".

 They put their hand prints on a step to sell at the school auction. 

 They had an awards ceremony. Maven got "Teacher's Helper"and Maren got "Story Writer".

Their birthday was the last day of school, so it was a party all day!

They get a kick out of each other.

 Evren is playing Candy Land by himself.

This is one of those books with Kindergarten questions in it. 

I heard Maven say to Evren: "Which one is taller and smaller?"

"Which snake is the best?" "Count with me."

Evren is 3!

Evren is 3 already, I can't believe it.

He was super excited about his new shark shoes. They are too cute.

 For spring break, the kids got one night with Grandma and Grandpa by themselves.
Evren took the opportunity to sleep in his Maren's bed while she was gone.

 We are trying to break his thumb sucking habit. He is wearing the TGuard.

 He is on day 5 and adjusting well so far.

 They requested I take a picture of the puzzle they did together. 

I don't get many requests for pictures. 

Valentine's Day and Beyond

Daddy got lots of cards on Valentine's Day.

I wrote down what they wanted me to say.

 Here is Maren's. He laughs because she wrote "I like to play with you normal".
She was explaining that she likes to play silly and play normal.

 Tiffy has spoiled us with new toys. 

Evren is blow drying, Maren is feeding, and Maven is helping the doll talk on the phone. 

Evren will be 3 on March 4. Tiffy got him a tractor. He loves it. 

Evren said he was making a monster trap.

 Maven became a monster trapped in his trap. He said "Don't mess up my trap".

 So they went on to build a full size monster trap. Evren was Spiderman, he saved Maren from Maven the monster. Even though the monster was stuck in the trap.

I don't know what possessed them to tilt their heads this way.
Must be the monsters.

The Fourth is with Us!

We have an announcement! 

Practicing already! The kids are excited.

 I have heard "Is the baby coming out today?" everyday so far. 

The girl's want a sister and Evren wants a brother, but they all want to hold and feed the baby.

 The girls went to a classmates birthday party and made these. 

They really liked the superhero theme.

 We have to have second lunch when we get home from school.
