Talky Talky Month 19

Their first donut holes. Big fans.
I keep trying to sneak up on them when they are having a conversation, but I'm not very sneaky. They talk all the time and we wish we could understand them, but they have no trouble communicating what they want. This morning Maren took me into her bedroom and looked through all of her drawers until we found the same shirt Maven was wearing. She wanted to match her sister. Maven is standing here looking at this video and pointing at her shirt showing me that she is wearing the same shirt as she was in the video. Sorry the video quality is so bad, they both give nice smiles at the end.
What is she saying?

Thanksgiving in Ohio

Helping cousin Aubrey with her homework
Maren liked this backpack toy and wouldn't take it off.
The only picture I got of Andan's face.
Aunt Karena made them this house which they enjoyed immensely.
Playing meeting. They took turns giving their part.
Apparently this is a face we make in meeting.
Hugs for Grandma.
Holding hands and going up stairs takes teamwork.

1.5 years old

This was our set up for eating breakfast in the camper at convention.
I'm sure Brendan will appreciate this very flattering picture.
Their sleeping arrangements in the camper.
They were very excited about their duck slippers.
One of the many faces of Maren.

 Zippers are so much fun.
Their new reading chairs. They usually give their dolls the best seat and then sit on the edge.
They never sat in this chair when it was in their toy room.
It is way more cool now that it is in Mom and Dad's room.

17 Months

I love spaghetti
 Me too
 Which is which?
I think they are looking more alike all the time, really have to focus to figure out who is who!
(It is harder to tell them apart in pictures than in person)
Maren wants to wear all of her clothes at once.
No fear. We will walk up to any animal and stick our hands in their face.
Maren was the only one that would even look in our direction for a picture.
It is more fun to try and pick up the pumpkins.

16 months old

We babysit Olivia sometimes and Maven can't get enough of her. She hugs and kisses her constantly with a little too much force. Olivia takes it all in stride.
 Watching the men outside.
Maren actually gave a semi smile for the camera!
I don't know what Olivia thinks, but the girls had a blast pushing her in their dolly stroller.
Maven mostly says Hi, along with yum yum and uh oh. You will see her wave with her dolly's arm as well. Maren mostly says doogie, daddy, bebe.
They alternate between hugging/kissing and wrestling until Maren gets tired of it.

Passionate 15 Month Olds

These girls are passionate about many things. It is so fun to see them get excited. The love pushing their dolls in strollers. (Practicing for when their little brother arrives!)
 Go to sleep...right now.
Blank stare.
Cheesy grins or blank stares are all I can get for pictures.
We went to the Children's Museum and they had a blast. Maven could have spent the entire time in this car.
Maren loved it too. You can see she found a doggy. She gets excited when she sees a dog and says "Doggy" over and over. She does the same for any other animal. All animals are "Doggys".
I think this girl would like tea parties.
We do have two of these things to ride on, but of course the doggy is the favorite. So we fight.
Maven will now bring you a book to read to her. They love these books from their aunt.

We are growing by 2 feet!

We are excited to announce the addition of 2 feet to our family in early March of 2014!
Here is a picture of all of our feet.
Here is the preparation for the picture of all of our feet.
 We like spaghetti.
 And wearing our shoes....
Who needs clothes? But shoes, if we can see them we want to wear them.
A table our size it much more fun.
Opening the bag and taking the toys out is something we like to do over and over again.
(I'm surprised Maven has not relieved Maren of the sticker on her face yet)
The girls are definitely playing more with each other. They've always done the same thing at the same time, like sitting at the table above, but now I catch them wrestling and laughing with each other.
This was the first time we tried on these shoes (since we can actually walk) and they love clomping around staring at their shoes.

Ohio and Back

My packing helpers
We don't care if there are 2 suitcases, we want to be in the same one.
 This is a fun game
 Grandma is exhausted
Aubrey came home with us from Ohio, she was a great help!
Maven would not walk without someone's hand in Ohio, but after a few days of being home she did this.
And the next day she did this.
Grandma and Grandpa drove down from Ohio a week after we got home and Maven was walking by herself by then.

On the move
 Same game, different toy
Maren is a ham. She loves to fake laugh when everyone else laughs
