Ohio Holiday

Maven wrote a note to her classmates before winter break.
They have heard us say we are going "up" to
Ohio so much they think that is what it is called.
Before we left we exchanged gifts with our Texas family.
The girls were so excited to get a doll house.
Tiffany also spoiled us with gifts.
Transformers galore!
 Another note from Maven,
she loves to write sweet little notes.

When we got to Ohio Maven lost her first tooth!
Grandpa just so happened to have chipped his tooth
so they were the toothless twins.
Emry loved to sit in between Grandpa's legs.
Aubrey is such a fun cousin.
Maren took this picture of Maven
Maven took this picture of Emry
At the children's museum, this was Evren's
favorite part.
Grandpa dressed in overalls to be silly for picture day.
 People asked Uncle Doug
if Emry was his.
Andan is a fun cousin too.
Emry made a friend at pot luck.
Was so nice to see these people again.
On our way to the airport.
Patty was here when we got home!

Thanksgiving

Evren is very happy with his fry/nugget sandwich
In case you needed the Rules for Life, Maren wrote them.
She says she knows the numbers are not in order but the words are.
We went to see Elf the Musical and the kids all talked to
Buddy the Elf. They told him he did a good job and shook his hand.
 Emry got his first haircut.
It didn't bother him at all.
The exact opposite of Evren who still
struggles today with haircuts.
 A peaceful moment.
The big kids got to spend the night with Grandma
and Grandpa after Thanksgiving along with Katelyn and Dylan.
A full house of fun.
 Katelyn and Maren
The kids weren't loud enough to ruin Great-Grandpa's nap
which is a good sign.

Fun Times

Don't let him fool you with his dainty fingers.
He will tackle you.
 Bed Head
 Happy Emry
We had a Queen, a Frankenstein, a Ninja, and a Chef for Halloween.
It rained, but it was fun.
 Cousins.
At the Renaissance Festival, Evren was apprehensive of a few of the rides,
but enjoyed himself thoroughly.
The twins helped their brother through the maze and the haunted house.
They all stuck together.

Fall is here!

Emry loves to climb onto and into anything he can.
An art project called Movement with Line.

 Loving the swing.

Emry loves to go to school.
Here he is yelling at me to open the door
so he can get in the car.
A bit of a weight problem here.
At grandma and grandpa's watching the men work on the pool.
This boy loves a tight squeeze with a teddy bear.
 Wakey Wakey.
It is still fun to be the "baby".
It is now Evren's turn to ride in the buggy with Emry.
It used to be Maren and Maven in the buggy
with Evren on the back of the bike.
He said "We should have brought a blanket so Emry and I
can take a nap".
These girls are growing up so fast.
Emry's favorite pastime is to play with plastic silverware and plastic cups.
He just loves to pull everything out of drawers and cupboards.

Emry is One!

Emry loves to play with his big brother.
Evren loves to play with his little brother, but on his time.
 Emry loves blankets.
 Get 'em started early.
Emry's birthday party was breakfast with the family.
Grandma and Grandpa were also there, I just didn't get their picture.
The balloons were a great hit for all.

Mr. Daredevil practicing his balance.
Katelyn spent a few nights with us while her parents were out of town.
Always crafting.
The house they decorated.
The fridge, pantry, and a toilet big enough for everyone.
A few of the 5th and 6th grade art projects from
my class that I thought turned out cool.
This one was called All in One Line.
Some of them didn't get the concept.
