Thanksgiving

The calculator is still the phone and we still enjoy packing all of
our toys into bags and carry them around.
 Stylin'
For Thanksgiving we went to Pecan Grove and Ty let the kids ride his horse Stitch.
The girls loved it.
Evren wasn't so sure at first, but soon warmed up.
This highchair is from the 1800s. My Dad's grandmother used it
when she was a kid and it was old then. My Dad refinished it when he was a kid.
The old "Guess What You Are Holding" game.
They had a good game of volleyball going as well.

October is Over

Evren mastered his tricycle within 2 weeks of getting it. He was determined.
Next step: no training wheels
 Evren drew a bug
The girls requested I take their picture like this. They can play Candy Land by themselves now.
Crazy Hair Day at school.
Saying R is hard. So our last name is Furyo.

Tooty Ta

They learned this goofy dance at school called the "Tooty Ta". It makes me laugh.
This boy. He goes from one thing to another every 30 seconds it seems.
Gotta put socks on the baby.
They came home with face paint done by one of the high schoolers at their school.
Maven said this is a butterfly.
"A heart with sparkles on it"
He would rather sleep under a bed than on top of it.
They are getting better at writing their names.

Preschool

Hannah came from Minnesota for a visit, so much fun!
The hats are from grandma and grandpa's trip to France, so cute.
I believe they think they are smiling when they show their teeth like this.
Maven looks like she is in pain.
The girl's started preschool today. They love it!
Evren starts school tomorrow. He will go twice a week.
This is how Evren tells a story. Quite emphatically and with his hands.
I just had to capture it.
I can usually understand more of what he says, but not so much here.
He starts with "One time", talks about snacks, and ends with "Me going".

Summer is ending...

This is how we find Evren sleeping periodically.
He also likes to sleep under his sister's bed if he isn't caught.
Grandma Anna and Grandpa Ron came for a week. Grandma and Aubrey were here 5 weeks before that. It would be wonderful to continue to see them so often, but we won't get to see them again until December.
They like to use couch cushions to make a bed.
Maren was reading a book about playing doctor to everyone.
That lead to playing doctor. Evren was the lucky patient.
The girls are so excited about school starting.
 Evren in his fort.
 Playdoh fun.

Summer Days

This boy likes orange, but he calls it purple.
Aubrey and Anna were here for 2 weeks! Not long enough
The kids thought Grandma's apron was so cool. They all wanted one.
The new thing is to make everything into a purse.
Evren will sit still for a picture if I let him see it afterwards.
 New dresses from aunt Patty!
 Maven
The girls pretend to take naps rather than taking actual naps.
He told me his Darth Vader mask was his purse. I wonder where he got that idea from.
Did you know Darth Vader wore pink boots?

Dylan is here!

My sister had Dylan Patrick on July 23!
He weighed 8 lbs, was 19 inches long, and has a full head of hair like his sister.
Evren copying his sisters.

Baby Boy Kelleher is almost here!

The girls were excited to have braids for my sister's baby shower. While their hair is thicker and stronger, it is still not long enough on top to stay in any hair do for very long. We tried anyway.
Maven. Looking forward to new baby cousin.
Karin's sister-in-law did a swell job decorating with a cowboy theme.
 So many cute outfits.
Karin and Karen. Her high school friend.
3 weeks or less to go!

Rainy Days

This little boy has had a rough time of it.
If there is a mosquito in the house it will find him at night and bite him all over.
He got so many at one point he got sick.
This was Maren's first attempt at copying her name.
He has learned so much from his sisters.
They love their new swimming suits....well any article of clothing in general.
