7 months old

Maven's new favorite pastime. Maren tolerates it for the most part.

 She is used to it since she endured 9 months of it before she was born.

Update: Now that I am determined to get a video of Maren's noise she hasn't done it once.

 She loved to blow air through closed lips to make them vibrate. 

6 months, 4 weeks - Ohio

 We are at Grandma and Grandpa Furrow's in Ohio while Daddy is in Norway.

 Maven got so tired she fell asleep on her face.

Maren thought cousin Andan's thumb tasted better than her own and Maven enjoyed attacking his face. 

Maren combined her arms and legs for her first crawl today! 

Maven is not far behind, experimenting as we speak. 

Maren decided to kick back and relax while eating with Grandma.

6 months, 2 weeks

 Selling pecans at Grogan's Mill Farmer's Market.

 Maven attracting customers.

 We have one who likes to eat everything and one who doesn't like to eat anything. Guess which is which. To give you a hint, Maven weighs 17 pounds 4 ounces and Maren weighs 16 pounds 1 ounce.

Thanksgiving - 6 months old

 Brendan's sister Karena and her family came to visit! This is her son Andan being silly.

I'm sad to say that we didn't get any pictures of the rest of the family, but here is a good one of Karena and Maven. 

Almost 6 Months Old

 We aren't thrilled about eating solid food yet as we haven't quite mastered the skill. 

 We do like to play footsie though!

 "All done Mommy, please take a hint."

5 months, 2 weeks - Halloween

We are beginning to see signs of sibling rivalry....

Due to lack of toys, Maren is proceeding to relieve Maven of hers. 

5 months, 1 week - Mountain Peak Convention

 We are both 25 inches long now, we grew an inch and a half in a month!

We are looking more and more alike and are fooling mom and dad more often.

4 Months, 4 weeks

Most of the time we are quiet like this...

But sometimes we need to make a statement.

4 months, 3 weeks

 We like to stand up, but Daddy doesn't have enough hands to help both of us. 

 We like to hold hands a lot, especially when we eat.

So peaceful...

4 Months, 2 weeks

Not the greatest video, but you can see how they suck on their lips/tongues. 

4 months, 1 week

 This is called the Superman. Maven is doing it in the top picture, Maren in the bottom picture.

I love this pose. Only Maren does it. She weighs 13 lbs now and Maven weighs 13 lbs 10 ounces. 

4 Months on September 17

A conversation, Maven speaks then Maren speaks.

3 months, 3 weeks

 Even Mommy and Daddy had to look at this picture twice to see who was who. (R left, V right)

 Mommy has horrible timing, can't you see we are tired?

We've got grab down, now to work on release. 

 An example of Maren unwilling to perform. She is giggling now as well, but we're going to have to disguise the camera or coordinate a surprise attack.
