We got some fuzzy socks in the mail from Kimmy and the kids were thrilled!
When the snow came to Texas we were very excited!
Snow angels were made.
Emry's attempt, at this point it was so cold we couldn't stand to be outside very long as we didn't have the proper attire for such weather.
We made a very slow trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house to see the new puppy Bella and get warm when our power went out.

Bella is a very amiable dog who lets the kids carry her around and
doesn't seem to be flustered by much.
This was about the best we could do snowman wise. We even raked the snow to try to get more.
We had several painting/craft sessions in the week we had off from school.
Then we were left with a lot of ice. The kids were dedicated to getting it off the street "so everything can go back to normal". At this point the freeze had caused so many issues everyone was tired of it.
Emry kept saying "I found more snow Mommy"
It was a concerted group effort.
If only they could be this dedicated about their chores!
We took the workers (Rich and Brian) to see Pop. He is doing so much better!
Our friend Tiffany went to Hawaii and brought the kids leis and lava rock.
They all brought it to school to show their teachers.
