The Twins Are 8!

Summer break has officially begun, but before we got

here a lot of fun things happened.
Emry wears his Batman costume everyday.
The kids built a stage so they could put on performances
for us.

 The kids played restaurant.

They built a lot of forts.

Every morning they delivered Daddy his bacon.

The girls made dolls for a project at school.

Evren decided he needed to make one too.

Another project at school required the girls to

take pictures of themselves doing farming activities.

Some siblings and cousins and Grandpa joined in.

 Katelyn turned 6!

We all had fun at her party.

 Uncle Kenny joined the fun.

 Unicorn cupcakes

 Painting dinosaurs with cousins.

The girls helped me plan their birthday party.

They drew these paint-by-number pictures for a

paint relay race.

Everyone helped make blueberry muffins and

cupcakes for the party.

 Rainbow balloons and llamas.

 Birthday cupcakes

After cupcakes and a treasure hunt inside, it was time

for some water fun outside.

 Water balloons

Maven posing in her new dress

Maren trying on her new shirt.

Emry loves to wear Evren's plastic swords and take all

the cushions off of the couch....everyday.

A piece of artwork they worked on together.

Evren didn't get to "walk" for kindergarten graduation

but we got a picture with his teacher.

The big kids doing their yoga exercises while

Batman builds a cushion tower.

Summer Vacation Already?

Picking blackberries at Grandma and Grandpa's farm

They wanted to make a pie, but sadly we didn't make it in time

and the berries molded

We improvised on the "Watch Ya Mouth" game.

Grandma and Grandpa helped us hang up the zip line.

Fun, fun, fun!

Delivering bacon to Daddy at work.

Evren lost his first tooth by trying to get Legos apart with his teeth.

 Downtime

We went 5 weeks without seeing our cousins.
They were very excited to be back together.

More fun in the sun with reusable water balloons.

The water from the hose is cold, but they still enjoy the pool.

 Playing Ring Around the Rosie

The girls had to write a silly story for school.

They enjoy writing stories.

 Here is Maven's story.

Our New Norm

Before all the restaurants closed we had one to ourselves.

Lots of indoor games.

 Lots of playtime outside.

 Lots of fun art projects.

First attempt at making fruit leather in a

dehydrator. It was yummy!

 Time for school!

 More school

 More art
