Evren is 3!

Evren is 3 already, I can't believe it.
He was super excited about his new shark shoes. They are too cute.
For spring break, the kids got one night with Grandma and Grandpa by themselves.
Evren took the opportunity to sleep in his Maren's bed while she was gone.
We are trying to break his thumb sucking habit. He is wearing the TGuard.
Here is a close up. He will wear it for 30 days.
He is on day 5 and adjusting well so far.
They requested I take a picture of the puzzle they did together.
I don't get many requests for pictures.

Valentine's Day and Beyond

Daddy got lots of cards on Valentine's Day.
I wrote down what they wanted me to say.
Here is Maren's. He laughs because she wrote "I like to play with you normal".
She was explaining that she likes to play silly and play normal.
Tiffy has spoiled us with new toys.
Evren is blow drying, Maren is feeding, and Maven is helping the doll talk on the phone.
Evren will be 3 on March 4. Tiffy got him a tractor. He loves it.
Evren said he was making a monster trap.
Maven became a monster trapped in his trap. He said "Don't mess up my trap".
So they went on to build a full size monster trap. Evren was Spiderman, he saved Maren from Maven the monster. Even though the monster was stuck in the trap.
I don't know what possessed them to tilt their heads this way.
Must be the monsters.

The Fourth is with Us!

We have an announcement!
Practicing already! The kids are excited.
I have heard "Is the baby coming out today?" everyday so far.
The girl's want a sister and Evren wants a brother, but they all want to hold and feed the baby.
 Aren't cushion forts fun?
 Matching game
The girls went to a classmates birthday party and made these.
They really liked the superhero theme.
We have to have second lunch when we get home from school.

To Ohio and Back

Tiffy is our good friend. She brought Xmas early for us.
The girls were in a Christmas program at school.
They sang "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" with 2 other grades.
I found it interesting that they both stood in the same position.
 These 2 are best buds.
 See?
We got to go to Ohio for a few weeks
and aunt Karena got the girls mermaid blankets.
They were so excited!
This was the most snow we had while we were in Ohio
We made the most of it by hooking a rope to Andan
and having him run up and down the hill.
The kids had a blast, but I don't know about Andan!
Play doh with Andan and Aubrey
Maven wearing Aubrey's boots, rare to catch a real smile in a picture.
Grandpa's hat was a hit as well.
Family pictures with Grandma and Grandpa
 All the grandkids

Thanksgiving

The calculator is still the phone and we still enjoy packing all of
our toys into bags and carry them around.
 Stylin'
For Thanksgiving we went to Pecan Grove and Ty let the kids ride his horse Stitch.
The girls loved it.
Evren wasn't so sure at first, but soon warmed up.
This highchair is from the 1800s. My Dad's grandmother used it
when she was a kid and it was old then. My Dad refinished it when he was a kid.
The old "Guess What You Are Holding" game.
They had a good game of volleyball going as well.

October is Over

Evren mastered his tricycle within 2 weeks of getting it. He was determined.
Next step: no training wheels
 Evren drew a bug
The girls requested I take their picture like this. They can play Candy Land by themselves now.
Crazy Hair Day at school.
Saying R is hard. So our last name is Furyo.

Tooty Ta

They learned this goofy dance at school called the "Tooty Ta". It makes me laugh.
This boy. He goes from one thing to another every 30 seconds it seems.
Gotta put socks on the baby.
They came home with face paint done by one of the high schoolers at their school.
Maven said this is a butterfly.
"A heart with sparkles on it"
He would rather sleep under a bed than on top of it.
They are getting better at writing their names.
