Some Winter Weather

All of the grandkids got costumes from Uncle Kenny and Aunt Salena for Xmas

We have a lot of random Harry Potter sightings.
And one tiny Fire Chief
He was so excited that his fire extinguisher actually squirted water.
Maren and Maven wrapped Evren in this box to surprise Katelyn.

As she was opening the box Emry stated "It's Evren".

We got this much snow one night. It was enough for school to be canceled due to possible icy roads.
Cold enough for a fire, blankets, and hot tea!
"It's really cold Mommy"
I wonder what this white stuff is? I better taste it.
Attempting to catch the tiny hail stones.

A New Year!

Off we go to see our peoples in Ohio!
.
We love our Aubrey and Andan.
Proof that my kids take better pictures than I do.
Further proof.
We did a lot of fun crafts. Emry was very focused when painting his bird house.
The end result of painting birdhouses.
This boy wants to wear shorts no matter how cold it is.
We walked across the train trestle behind Grandma and Grandpa's house
and found this sign on the other side.
The grandkids decorated an apron for Grandma.
Making slime bubbles.
A quiet moment.
We enjoyed the snow 3 separate times while we were there.
They found icicles. And ate them.
Our snow ghost.
Making taffy
Pulling taffy

Halloween and Thanksgiving

The weather has been beautiful here.
We have been spending a lot of time outside.
Emry loves to play with rocks and sticks.
The girls made a skate ramp for their animals.
And a trampoline.
We went to a Fall Festival
Zip line!
Time to trick or treat!
Katelyn and Dylan went with us. They made out like candy bandits.
They have all learned the Tooty Ta song at school (at different times)
Such a silly dance.
I had to take a picture of Mr. Accessory. He would
rather put his lunch box in a separate bag than in his backpack.
The only thing missing in this photo is his hat.
And then it was time for Thanksgiving!
We went for a walk in Huntsville State Park with Grandma and Grandpa.
They stopped to climb every "Rainbow Tree" that had fallen down.
Emry likes to photo bomb.
Here is Maren with two photo bombers.
Evren lucked out.
Swinging on the vines.
Walking with Grandpa
Emry made the entire family out of Play Doh. Here he is telling me who is who.

Mrs. Canova Rhodes. Our favorite nonagenarian.
New haircuts
Riding through a car wash is semi alarming.
We get to visit Pop now!
It is the time of year for pumpkins!
Fun game of getting the cookie from your forehead to your mouth
without hands at a school game night.
Birthday party cupcake decoration station.
The girls couldn't eat the cupcakes, but had fun decorating them.
Emry did too.
"Can we just eat the sprinkles?"
We got to visit Cassie and her crew in Georgetown
before our one day of convention. Such a treat!
Tacky Tourist Tuesday at school. Our tourists weren't tacky.
They wore the clothes Kenny and Salena bought for them in Indonesia.
Emry's tourist outfit. Not one to be left out.
 Wildwest Wednesday
