February

 Evren is 11 months old now, wears 18 or 24 month clothes and is 29.75" tall. 

He weighs 22 lbs 8 oz.

 These kiddos are funny. No clothes necessary, but winter hats and gloves? Certainly.

 He likes to play games like you nod your head, I'll nod mine. It makes him laugh.

I found another of Daddy's baby shirts. 

All of a sudden, he started to dance. Now he will even dance when the girls sing.

 We might be learning to accept the camera!

 Maren fell off of her bed while playing on it and now has to wear the brace on her left arm for a few weeks. She did not break it or fracture it. She "bent" the bone. 

 Mommy's shoes are so big they can wear the front and sit on the back.

My naked babies. Maven likes to be goofy to entertain Evren.

They love the story of David and Goliath. They can relate to big Boo Boos and falling down. I don't think they understand the fact that Goliath didn't get back up.

It is a new year!

 These were baby Brendan's overalls. So cute!

Maren's normal camera face. It is an accomplishment to get them to look at the camera.

 I said "Just look at the camera, you don't have to smile." She didn't.

I don't know what happened when I got out the camera this time, but they smiled for me!

What did I do right? I wish I knew. It is also rare to see them clothed at home. As soon as we arrive home they take their hair out and their clothes off. I'm just glad they leave their diapers on.

 You don't have to do much to get this guy to grin. 

Daddy gets to play with Legos, he is a happy guy. We just got these and he says we need more.

Leaps and Bounds

He's done with the crawling thing.

I was talking to them about using the restroom instead of diapers and they decided to distract me with this story about the moose on Maren's shirt.

Walking!

It is incredible to watch Evren improve his walking skills everyday. He is able to take 8-10 consecutive steps at this point. He can squat and grab a toy and stand back up as you can see in this video. 

Thanksgiving

 For once I have too many pictures to chose from thanks to 

cousin Aubrey who came to visit for Thanksgiving!

 The girls thoroughly enjoyed picking up leaves, they were a big help.

  

As was the rest of the family! Beware if you come to visit, you may be put to work :)

 Evren is 9 months old now, has 6 teeth, wears size 18 month clothes, and is about to start walking. He can take 4 steps in a row at this point.

 Evren and I went to Minnesota for a short visit. Cousin Katelyn was there and aunt Jane. 

 Evren's first time in the snow started out well, 

but didn't last long as you can see he was only wearing socks.

Catching Up

 It's been a while since we posted, we've just been hanging out in our box fort.

 Wearing the dress Gama (pronounced Gaw-Ma) made us with the big pocket that is so cool.

 Doing the exact same thing at the exact same time...just for fun.

 Having bad hair days.

 Watching all the deer in our backyard.

Dressing ourselves. I have videos I would like to post of Evren pushing his highchair across the room  (standing up) and the girls saying their names, but I'm having trouble uploading it. The girls both call themselves "Mamen".
